Monster Bash on the Mountain this Weekend, SpeedSport1 Added as Sportsman Sponsor

CENTER LISLE, NY – The Monster Bash on the Mountain is fast approaching with racing on Friday evening November 1st and Saturday afternoon November 2nd at the Thunder Mountain Speedway. Over 100 Cars are already pre-registered.

Speedsport1, the first online network dedicated to Free Live motorsports events, will be the title sponsor of the 30-Lap SpeedSport1 Sportsman Feature.  With the addition of SpeedSport1, the heat races for the Saturday portion of the Monster Bash on the Mountain for Modifieds and Sportsman will be live on the Speedsport1 network starting at 2pm and running until 3pm.

If you aren’t going to be at Thunder Mountain, you can watch for free the preliminary action on www.speedsport1.com, before purchasing the pay per view available at Dirt Track Digest TV (www.dirtrackdigest.tv) to catch all of the feature events.

Friday evenings $400 to win $75 to start 20-lap Micro Sprint race will be officiated by Jerry Gurney of the NY6A Hoosier 600 Sprint Tour.  Affordable Repair Service will be paying $75 to the Hard Charger and the Power Shed will be offering $50 to the Hard Luck driver.  In addition thanks to Power Shed the 7th place finisher will earn $100.  Fisher Racing is paying the 13th place finisher $25, and Jerry Gurney is paying $50 to the driver that finishes in 14th position.

In the spirit of Halloween, Thunder Mountain Speedway will be providing candy to those in attendance.  One lucky recipient of a candy bag will also find a 2025 Thunder Mountain Speedway season pass with the goodies.

The Monster Bash on the Mountain will have the Friday night 71 Speed and Design “Just Missed” award for those that miss the chance to lock into Saturday’s redraw for Modified and Sportsman campaigners.  Saturday will feature the “Draw Redemption” that for a fee, if a driver does not like the spot they pulled for the heat race, then pay to draw another number.  All money garnered from the “Draw Redemption” will be paid back into the appropriate purse.  “The Last Call” will be a 10-lap Modified race for non-qualified Modifieds. The winner will have the option of starting 25th in the 40-lap Stafursky Paving Modified Feature or taking home $400.  2nd Place will receive a Hoosier tire.  All other drivers that start the “Last Call” will be paid $75.  Those finishing from 3rd to 12th will also receive a $50 DIG Products certificate.  Malcom Media will be paying the Modified Hard Charger $50.

Those participating in the Vintage Modified Open will need to message the Thunder Mountain Facebook page to preregister for the event and the two complimentary pit passes that will be provided for supporting it.

Racing will open on Friday evening with 20-lap features for the 600cc Modifieds, 600cc Sprints, and 4-Cylinders.  The Graydon Excavation Factory Stocks will race 25 laps for $1,000 to win and $500 for second place. The Modified and Sportsman cars will participate in practice and two sessions of timed hot laps to lock the fastest driver of each session into the Saturday redraw. Racing will start at 7:00 PM on Friday.  Pit Gates will open at 4:00PM. Grandstands open at 5:00PM, and Hot Laps start at 6:15.

At the conclusion of Friday’s racing, there will be a bonfire and music to celebrate the winners of the preliminary night features of the Monster Bash on the Mountain.

Day two of the Monster Bash on the Mountain will find the Stafursky Paving Modifieds and Sportsman taking center stage. With a 40-lap feature for Modifieds paying $4,000 to win and a minimum of $350 to start. The SpeedSport1 Sportsman will race in a 30-lap contest, paying $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start. The 600cc Modifieds will be back to race for a $1,000 win in a 25-lap affair. Rounding out the card will be the Vintage Modified Open featuring twin twenties for the four division of vintage cars.  Each division of Vintage Modifieds will be racing for a Monster Bash on the Mountain trophy.  The exciting action starts at 2:00 PM on Saturday.  Pit gates will open at 10:00AM, Grandstands opening at 11:00AM with Hot Laps starting at 1:00PM.

Friday evening it will be $15 for the stands. Seniors and Students are $13 and $40 for the pits, with Saturday’s racing action being $25 for the stands, Seniors and Students are $22 and $45 for the pits.

Weekly Thunder Mountain Speedway rules will be followed by all divisions with the utilization of Hoosier Racing Tires.
