100 LAP ENDURO RULES
Core Vehicle Guidelines
- Eligibility: 1980s-or-newer 4cyl or V-6 front wheel drive American or foreign stock passenger cars or mini-vans. ALL CARS MUST BE STOCK.
*Full-size trucks, SUVs, and all-wheel-drive/4WD vehicles are strictly prohibited.
- Engine & Transmission: Engines must remain stock corresponding to the make and model of the car. Turbochargers, performance upgrades, and aftermarket multi-carb setups are prohibited.
- Body & Glass: All glass, headlights, and taillights must be removed. Windshields must be replaced with a protective screen. Doors must be welded, chained, or strapped shut. Hood pins are approved. Hole in hood 3”x 3” is required.
- Wheels: Stock passenger car wheels. DOT tires only. Must be the same size on all sides. Snow tires are not permitted.
Safety Requirements
- Driver Protection: Approved racing helmet, neck brace, and a full fire-retardant driving suit are mandatory. 4-point harness is required.
- Cage/Bars: Six-point cages are recommended. A bumper height bar (min. 1/8” thick) must be installed behind the seat running from left to right side door. Outer door bar suggested.
- Seat: Racing seat with 4-point harness is highly recommended.
- Driver’s Window & Door: A window net with a quick-release mechanism is required on the driver’s side. Driver door padding is required.
- Fuel & Battery: Stock fuel tanks in the original location are allowed if protected. An approved fuel cell securely mounted in the rear floorboard is allowed. A master battery kill switch within driver’s reach is required. Batteries must be securely fastened and covered.
- Fire Safety: A 2lb ABC Fire extinguisher is mandatory in all competing cars. It must be mounted securely and within reach of driver.
- Communication: Two-way radios are prohibited; race-to-driver one-way receivers (such as a RaceCeiver) are mandatory for official track instructions.
Scoring/Officiating
- Winner: First car to cross finish line at lap 100 wins
- Officials have final word
- Red flag = All stop
- Car numbers: Must be clearly displayed on roof of car
