CENTER LISLE, NY – It’s twice as nice this weekend at Thunder Mountain.

This weekend, Thunder Mountain Speedway roars to life with two racing programs on Saturday, May 18, and then again on Sunday, May 19.

Saturday night features a weekly racing program with Dirt Track Digest TV Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, B Walt’s Car Care 600 Modifieds, 600 Sprints, FWD 4cyl Stocks, and Classics on Dirt.

Make-up features will kick off the program for those divisions that were rained out back on opening night for the DIRTcar Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Factory Stocks.

Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 5:15p, and racing starts at 6p. General admission is $15 Adults; $13 Sr./Students/Veterans and 9 and under free. Pit admission is $40; kids age 3-10 are $20.

Sunday night is the inaugural event for the Pinnacle of Power Series. The Modifieds are slated to race 40-laps for $4,000. The event is a tune-up for the Super DIRTcar Series event, which is just one week from Monday on Memorial Day, May 27. Several heavy hitters are expected to make their way to the Mountain to get laps prior to the event. Joining the Modifieds on the card are the DIRTcar Sportsman, B Walt’s Car Care 600cc Modifieds, and Factory Stocks.

Pit gates open at 2 p.m. for this event, while grandstands open at 4. General admission is $22 Adults; $20 Sr./Students/Veterans and 9 and under free. Pit admission is $45; kids 10 and under are $20.
