Barker Best Modifieds, McCreadie, Green, Lobdell, Bobbett, Donahue Get Job Done at Thunder Mountain

CENTER LISLE, NY – Alan Barker bested Matt Smith in the 35-lap Dirt Track Digest TV Modified feature event on Saturday night at Thunder Mountain Speedway.

Barker and Smith sliced and diced for most of the race, with Barker bettering Smith in traffic to take home his first win of the season at the speedway.

Jordan McCreadie led them all in the DIRTcar 358 Modified feature to claim the 2026 track championship. Jared Green made a late pass for the lead in the DIRTcar Sportsman main event. Tom Donahue led every lap of the 20-lap Hustle the Highway Series feature for the 600 Modifieds. Jerry Lobdell Jr. parked in victory lane with the Factory Stocks, while Zach Bobbett continued his dominance of the 600 Sprint division.

Rich Talada rolled off from the pole position in the Dirt Track Digest TV Modified feature, and he was able to lead the first two laps before Barker rocketed by on the top side of the speedway in Turns 3 and 4.

Barker kept up a torrid pace at the front of the field as sixth-starting Matt Smith charged forward. Smith took the second spot on lap 11.

From there, Smith chased down Barker, and the battle was on. By lap 20, the pair was together battling for the lead. For the next 10 laps, Smith worked the bottom as Barker kept his No. 77 up high.

With 10 laps to go, Barker and Smith were nearly even at the line, with Smith leading laps as they battled for position. Smith was there, but Barker was better in traffic as the slower cars moved to the bottom of the racing surface. This slowed Smith’s pace, allowing Barker to keep the lead.

When the checkered flag fell, it was Barker picking up his first win of the season, with Smith in second. Darren Smith came from 11th to finish third. Shaun Walker was fourth, with Cody Higbie fifth.

Jordan McCreadie dominated the 30-lap DIRTcar 358 Modified Feature, leading from the pole and pulling away to score the victory by nearly three seconds. McCreadie controlled the race from start to finish, with Kreg Crooker finishing second after starting third. Matt Smith crossed the line in third, followed by Ajay Potrzebowski II in fourth. McCreadie is the 2026 DIRtcar 358 Modified track champion.

Jared Green made a late-race move to capture the 25-lap DIRTcar Sportsman Feature. Green, who started eighth, took the lead from Avery Decker on lap 21 by making a bold move through the middle of Turns 1 and 2. Green went on to secure the victory over Decker, with Chance Spoonhower Jr. finishing third. Cody Jackson charged from 14th to finish fourth, while Sullivan Dickey completed the top five after starting 12th.

Tom Donahue led every lap of the 20-lap 600cc Modified Feature to capture the Hustle the Highway 600 Modified Series victory. Donahue, who started from the pole, quickly took control and never looked back, crossing the finish line ahead of Brandon Loucks and Tyler Talada. Charles Lohmeyer finished fourth after starting eighth, while Talan Oliver completed the top five after charging forward from the 14th starting position.

Jerry Lobdell Jr. scored his fourth win of the season in the 20-lap Factory Stocks Feature, taking the lead on lap two and going on to secure the victory. Lobdell, who started third, held off Mike Morse for the win, with Brian Rhodes finishing third. Jason Rhodes, who started from the pole, finished fourth, while Frank Del Nero Jr. completed the top five.

Zach Bobbett earned his sixth win of the season in the 20-lap 600cc Sprint Feature, taking the lead on lap four and going on to secure the victory. Bobbett, who started fifth, moved to the front and held off Dylan Randall for the win. Bill Westlake finished third after starting from the pole, with Timothy Westlake and Cliff Pierce completing the top five.
