Zacharias Gets First Modified Win, Shields, Millard, Lobdell, Talada, and Bobbett Also Park in Victory Lane at Thunder Mountain

CENTER LISLE, NY – On a night honoring former racer Roy Shields, it was Jimmy Zacharias who claimed top honors in the Dirt Track Digest TV Modified main event. Also making trips to victory lane were Will Shields (DIRTcar 358 Modifieds) with a special win, Jordan Millard (DIRTcar Sportsman), Jerry Lobdell Jr. (Factory Stocks), Tyler Talada (600cc Modifieds), and Zach Bobbett (600 Sprints).

At the start of the 35-lap Dirt Track Digest TV Modified feature, Matt Smith jumped to the lead on the opening lap after starting in the fourth position. Smith led the first three laps before Alex Tonkin took over the top spot with a slide job in turns three and four on a lap four restart.

Tonkin paced the field as fifth-starting Zacharias began to close in. Zacharias caught Tonkin on lap 12, and the duo came to the line side by side. Two laps later, Zacharias completed a slide job of his own in turns three and four to take the lead.

Once out front, Zacharias pulled away from the field while Tonkin engaged in a fierce battle with Tommy Collins and early leader Smith.

A final caution with 11 laps remaining briefly slowed the action, but Zacharias maintained his momentum on the restart and drove away to capture his first Dirt Track Digest TV Modified win of the season. Tonkin held on for second, with Collins finishing third. Smith secured fourth, and Shields rounded out the top five.

Shields took the lead from early front-runner Joshua Landers on lap 5 of the DIRTcar 358 Modified feature and never looked back, powering his J82 machine to victory in the 30-lap on a night in which the late Roy Shields was honored. Starting from the fourth position, Shields methodically worked his way to the front and maintained control through the remaining laps. Jimmy Zacharias made a strong late-race charge from sixth to finish second, while Landers held on for third after leading early. Darren Smith and Jamie Kamrowski rounded out the top five.

In an impressive drive through the field, Jordan Millard charged from the 17th starting position to win the time shortened 22-lap DIRTcar Sportsman feature for this third of the season. Millard patiently picked off cars lap after lap and took control in the closing stages to score a hard-fought victory. Rich Talada also had a strong run, advancing from seventh to finish second, while Matt Brewer stormed from 18th to claim the final podium spot. Randy Brokaw and Cody Jackson completed the top five.

Jerry Lobdell Jr. dominated the 20-lap feature, leading every lap from his fourth starting spot to secure his sixth win of the season. Lobdell quickly took control at the drop of the green and never looked back, fending off early pressure to maintain a steady lead throughout the race. Harold Lobdell Jr. came home second after starting on the front row, while Rich Sharpsteen rounded out the podium in third. Lukas Mills and Frank Del Nero Jr. completed the top five.

Tyler Talada delivered an impressive drive in the 600cc Modifieds feature, working his way up from the 22nd starting position to claim the win. With smooth and consistent laps, Talada steadily advanced through the field and took control late in the race. Justin LaDue followed with a strong run from 11th to finish second, while Anthony Desimone held his ground in third. Ali Scutt and Doug Windhausen completed the top five with solid performances.

Zach Bobbett continued his dominant run in the 600cc Sprints, picking up his sixth win in the last seven races with a strong performance in the 20-lap feature. Starting sixth, Bobbett quickly moved into contention and took over the lead to secure another victory. Ivan Forney finished second after starting third, with Thomas Paige close behind in third. Timothy Westlake advanced from tenth to take fourth, while Doug Windhausen rounded out the top five.
