CENTER LISLE, NY – Memorial Day means Big Block thunder on the Mountain! The Super DIRTcar Series rolls into Thunder Mountain Speedway on Monday, May 26th for a spectacular night of dirt racing, headlined by the best Big Block Modified drivers in the Northeast racing in the Natural 77 Honoring Dale Planck with $7,700 on the line.

This highly anticipated event brings the stars of the Super DIRTcar Series to the Southern Tier’s premier high-banked oval for the first time this season. Fans can expect to see top names like Matt Sheppard, multi-time series champion; Mat Williamson, a former Super DIRT Week winner and defending series champion; and Jimmy Phelps, last year’s winner; Track Champion Darren Smith looks to defend home turf, among many others, battling it out for crucial tour points and glory on the mountain.

Joining the Big Blocks will be the always-competitive DIRTcar Sportsman, racing for a lucrative $1,500-to-win purse. Thanks to Spoonhower Logging, regular Thunder Mountain Sportsman competitors will have even more on the line, with a $250 bonus up for grabs for the top-finishing Thunder Mountain regular.

Also on the card is the fan-favorite Factory Stock division, showcasing raw horsepower, fender-to-fender action, and a true grassroots spirit that keeps fans on their feet.

Gates open at 4pm with hot laps at 6pm, and fans are encouraged to come hungry and ready for an action-packed evening.
