Monster Bash Returns in 2026 – Monster Cash Tickets Available at Syracuse Motorsports Expo
CENTER LISLE, NY – The 3rd annual Monster Bash on the Mountain is set to return to Thunder Mountain Speedway on Friday evening, October 30, and Saturday afternoon, October 31, 2026.
This year’s event will follow the same exciting format as last year. On Friday, four divisions will take to the track for qualifying races and feature action: the Hustling the Highway Series 600cc Modifieds, 600cc Winged Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, and Factory Stocks. Additionally, Modifieds and Sportsman drivers will have the opportunity for timed hot laps, with the fastest competitors in two sessions advancing to the Saturday redraw for the Modifieds and Sportsman.
Saturday’s program will include racing action for the Modifieds, Sportsman, IMCA Modifieds, 600cc Modifieds, and the Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series.
Last year, Johnstown, NY’s Rocky Warner took home the top prize, despite Mother Nature forcing the originally scheduled two-day show to be condensed into a single day, attracting over 190 cars to Thunder Mountain Speedway.
“We are excited to once again bring this event to our fans in 2026,” said event co-promoter Mike Mallett.
This weekend, Monster Cash for the Monster Bash raffle tickets will be available at the Thunder Mountain Speedway booth during the Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the Center of Progress Building on the New York State Fairgrounds. Tickets are available for a $25 donation.
The raffle will take place during the Modified Feature on Saturday of Monster Bash weekend. Three tickets will be drawn:

“Last year, Monster Cash raffle prizes were chosen based on finishing spots in the Modified feature,” said co-promoter Sara Spoonhower. “This year, we wanted to make it more affordable with the $25 raffle ticket and $5 off coupon, so even more fans can participate and enjoy the racing.”
“Sponsorship is already coming in for this year,” said co-promoter Mike Mallett. “For the 2026 Monster Bash on the Mountain, Stafursky Paving will return to sponsor the Modifieds, and Speedsport 1 will sponsor the Sportsman race.”
The 2025 event was supported by many generous sponsors, including Graydon Excavating, Eagle Ridge Construction, MJH Oil Field Service and J Gordon Contracting LLC, 71 Speed and Design, All Star Performance, Bille Jo Fuller, CSC Construction, ERK Steering, the Mallett Family, Power Shed/Windhausen Racing, Promotion Custom Fabrications, Rich Powell Designs, Sean Weldy Track Repair, Statewide Aqua Store, Taylor Spoonhower, Velocita, and ERK Steering.
