Eric Leet Hustles the High Side to Win Mods; Doug Smith, Eric Winsor, Logan Ladue, Rich Sharpsteen, and Johnny Smith Also Find Victory Lane

CENTER LISLE, NY – Over 150 cars packed the pit area for Saturday night’s program, held in honor of former track employee Bob Wildoner, who was lost too soon.
Winners on the night included Eric Leet in the Dirt Track Digest TV Modifieds, Doug Smith Jr. in the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, Eric Winsor in the DIRTcar Sportsman, Logan Ladue in the 600 Modifieds, Rich Sharpsteen in the Factory Stocks, and Johnny Smith with the CRSA Sprint Cars.
Brian Malcolm took the initial lead in the Dirt Track Digest TV Modified feature at the drop of the green flag and held the top spot in the early stages.
By lap eight, Cody Higbie began closing the gap on the leader, mounting a challenge at the halfway point as he tracked down Malcolm. Higbie’s bid for the win ended on lap 21 when Malcolm, Higbie, and a lapped car came together three-wide, breaking the front end of Higbie’s No. 97.
The restart lined up Eric Leet alongside Malcolm on the front row. Leet rolled to the outside and kept pace with Malcolm until finally making the top of the speedway stick on lap 28 to take over the lead after starting eighth.
At the checkered flag, Leet claimed the win over Malcolm, who finished second. Brandon Loucks raced from ninth to third, Tommy Collins drove from 19th to fourth, and Will Shields completed the top five.
Doug Smith Jr. secured a well-earned victory in the DIRTcar 358 Modified 30-lap feature, making a decisive move on the outside after a three-lap, side-by-side battle. Smith, who started seventh, methodically worked through the field before claiming the lead on lap 18 and maintaining control to the finish. Jimmy Zacharias finished second, Darren Smith third, with Brandon Walters and Jamie Kamrowski rounding out the top five.
Johnny Smith earned his first-ever CRSA Sprint Car Series victory in dramatic fashion, charging from fifth to win the 25-lap feature. Smith patiently worked his way through the field and seized the lead on lap 21 with a bold move to the bottom of the track, holding off strong efforts from Zach Sobotka and Dillon Paddock, who finished second and third. Billy VanInwegen Jr. and Jordan Hutton completed the top five.
Eric Winsor captured the win in the 20-lap DIRTcar Sportsman feature, taking the lead late in the race to secure a strong finish. Winsor made a clean pass on lap 15, using the bottom of turns three and four to edge past early leader Randy Brokaw. Travis Green advanced from ninth to take second, with Brokaw settling for third after leading much of the race. Avery Decker and Stephen Winsor completed the top five.
Rich Sharpsteen put on a commanding performance in the Factory Stock division, leading all 16 laps of a caution-shortened feature to take the win. Sharpsteen wasted no time getting to the front and controlled the pace throughout. Brian Rhodes worked his way up from eighth to finish second, while Justin Slezak charged through the field from 16th to claim third. Jerry Lobdell Jr. and Harold Lobdell Jr. rounded out the top five.
Logan Ladue earned the first win of his career in the 20-lap 600cc Modified A Feature, delivering a strong and steady performance to take the checkered flag. Tom Donahue finished second, while Justin LaDue secured third place. Jared Green and Tyler Talada completed the top five.
